Gala Evening & Charity Fundraiser Event


We are thrilled to announce that the Ministry of Empowerment will be hosting a Gala Charity Fundraising event on the 28th of September, 2024. Tickets are now available for purchase.  

This event promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with singing, dancing, a raffle, and a delightful three-course meal with drinks included. The Ministry of Empowerment has had a profound impact on many of our lives and continues to make significant contributions to the Croydon community, which is why your support is so crucial.

2023 SPRING RETREAT

The weekend beginning from Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th April 2023, a maximum of twelve ladies will be attending a weekend retreat at Windmill Farm in Oxfordshire.

On Saturday, you are invited to the Spring Retreat Day Conference commencing from 10.00 am – 6.30 pm approx. 

During this time, we will be sharing and delivering activities relating to personal challenges and experiences of this Christian journey based on the story of Abigail who was faithful, confident, had a listening ear, and was a problem solver using wise strategies. Our Guest Speaker will be Dr. Joan Myers OBE

Dr Joan Myers OBE

Some years ago, Dr. Joan Myers attended one of the Ministry of Empowerment conferences. She was very humble and at the time I really didn’t know much about her. However, when she spoke, you knew and felt that she had an anointed upon her life.

For some months it kept on dropping in my spirit that we should invite her to speak at the Spring Retreat. I delayed and delayed then picked up the courage to give her a call. Praise the Lord, she accepted the invitation to be with us on Saturday 22nd April 2023.

Since then I found out that she is a much sought-after anointed and inspirational speaker in England, the USA, the West Indies, and Africa. She is also the Pastor at REhoboth International Christian Centre in Croydon.

How to be Equipped

  • Gird ourselves with truth
  • Wear the breastplate of righteousness
  • Spread the gospel of peace
  • Wear the helmet of salvation
  • Live in the Word of God

Let us, therefore…..

  • Pray always
  • Make supplication in the Spirit
  • Watch with all perseverance and supplication

Why?

  • That utterance may be given
  • That we speak with boldness
  • We are ambassadors of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
