EMPOWERING COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR

D Johnson (Choir Director)

Although we continued choir practise on Zoom, the atmosphere, warmth and love were felt amongst every member that was in attendance.  There was a strong sense of community along with social inclusion.   Even though we adhered to social distancing, we were able to express our emotions of gratitude and gladness.  Going through this season of ‘uncertainly.’  It is our aim to continue to sing our way through sadness, loneliness and isolation particularly during this pandemic.

Singing can help to improve our health and wellbeing.

What a great night, first seeing each other In the flesh then singing our hearts out. Oh!  It was great the good Lord was with us and we show Him we all have faith in him and ourselves.  We did not have time to think of COVID- 19. So, until we next time, we met, keep exercising those vocal chords, stay safe God bless.🙏🏼🙏🏼

I concur with previous comments.  With Christ in the vessel we sailed through the storm.  The joy of our Lord radiated within us to give an outstanding performance.  Although we were separated in body for six months, we proved we were together in spirit.  I thank God for all of us who are members of the choir and pray that long may we continue to sing in praise to our father in heaven. See you soon.

Yes, it was good to be back in person to choir practice. Beautiful singing may God bless the vocal chords, along with every part of us keeping us safe under the shadow of His wings.
